Turkmenistan increased exports of goods to Turkey by 34.6% in January —March 2023

The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Turkey for three months of this year increased by 24.7% compared to the same period in 2022, reaching more than $ 541 million, the Turkish Statistical Institute reports, Trend reports.

Thus, Turkmenistan increased exports by 34.6%, bringing this figure to $ 306 million, and imports — by 19.1%, the value of which reached $ 235 million.

Turkmenistan and Turkey are actively increasing trade turnover from year to year: in 2022, this figure increased by 21.8%, amounting to $2.06 billion. According to previously reached agreements, the state plans to bring this figure to $5 billion per year.
