The Day of Memory of Ataturk, Youth and Sports of Turkey was celebrated in Ashgabat
The Turkish Embassy in Turkmenistan held an event in Ashgabat dedicated to the Day of Memory of Ataturk, Youth and Sports of Turkey, which is celebrated on May 19.
The festive event featured folk games and dances of the Republic of Turkey, sports competitions, as well as small theatrical skits revealing the significance of the holiday. The celebration of the significant date was held with the participation of the Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Togan Oral.
The Day of Memory of Ataturk, Youth and Sports in Turkey is a nationwide celebration, which is celebrated on a large scale.
On the eve of the holiday, streets and houses are decorated with flags and portraits of Kemal Ataturk. In large cities, gardeners break flower beds, where you can see symbolic pictures of flowers. Parks are preparing to receive many visitors.
