The visit of the President of Turkmenistan to China begins

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived on Thursday morning, May 18, in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, in northwest China, to attend the China- Central Asia Summit on the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The President of Turkmenistan will join the earlier arrived heads of state of four other Central Asian countries, namely Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, at a summit chaired by Xi Jinping.
On January 5-6 this year, Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid a state visit to China on the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. This was his first visit to China after taking office as President of Turkmenistan.
