President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Wednesday received the heads of consulting companies Goetzpartners and Prodoehl Consult - Stefan Goetz, Stefan Sanctjohanser, Hans Proel and other participants of the German business delegation.
During the meeting, the guests expressed the interest of German business circles in developing economic ties with Turkmenistan, which have long-standing experience and promising prospects.
The Head of State said that Turkmenistan is open for constructive cooperation and sees Germany as one of its important trade and economic partners in the European Union.
It was noted that both countries successfully cooperate in the industrial sphere, in the field of agriculture, in the banking sector and in the transport and communication block. A number of large German companies were able to consolidate their positions in the Turkmen market.
The long-term cooperation in the field of healthcare is indicative, covering both the exchange of experience between specialists and the equipping of medical institutions of Turkmenistan with the latest equipment from leading German companies.
The diversification of the economy and the creation of conditions for investment activity in the country open up new opportunities for expanding partnership, and in this context, Turkmenistan's readiness to consider specific proposals from German business was noted.
