The pre-election campaign began in the village of Aba Annaev in the city of Arkadag


On May 17, the election campaign for the upcoming on July 23 elections of members of the Gengesh (local self-government body) of the village of Aba Annaev, Kyarizek district, Arkadag city, begins. This was announced on Tuesday at a meeting of the Central Election Commission of Turkmenistan.
During the CEC meeting, which was also attended by national observers from political parties and other public organizations, a plan of upcoming events, leaflets for election commissions and other documents were approved. Organizational issues were also considered for the election of members of local self-government in the village of Aba Annaev, Kyarizek district, Arkadag city.
Orient wrote that the Arkadag settlement, built near the Turkmen capital, in accordance with the resolution of the national parliament dated March 23 this year, acquired a special legal status of a city of national importance.
The Parliament of Turkmenistan also adopted documents, legislatively approving two districts in the city of Arkadag - Gorzhav and Kyarizek, in the last of which it is planned to hold the above-mentioned elections on July 23.
