KazanForum will discuss the subtleties of media diplomacy
On the sidelines of the international economic forum "Russia — the Islamic World: KazanForum", which starts on May 18, the heads of the largest news agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries will hold a session dedicated to media cooperation for sustainable development and economic prosperity. This is reported by the Tatarstan media.
Among the participants of the media session are Mohammed Abdrabbo Alami, Director General of the OIC Union of News Agencies, as well as representatives of the largest news agencies in Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkey and other countries.
It should be noted that about 700 media representatives have applied to cover KazanForum events. More than 60 journalists from 22 countries of the world will work within the framework of the forum.
The organizers are building a media center with an area of 1,500 square meters on the territory of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition complex. It will include a 100-seat work area, food, recreation areas and partner headquarters. The media center also provides for broadcasting sessions of the forum's business program.
