Turkmen State University strengthens cooperation with universities of Russia and Belarus


Teachers of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University took part in seminars and conferences organized by the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Belarusian State University, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
The events were organized within the framework of cooperation agreements with Russian and Belarusian universities. MSU associate professors Alexey Korenev, Irina Petrosyan, graduate students Elena Plokhikh, Ksenia Chikrizova, and Professor Svetlana Titova conducted 8 webinars on linguistics for their Turkmen colleagues.
They familiarized TSU teachers with the peculiarities of testing linguistic knowledge, methods of using dictionaries, including in the information space, teaching children with disabilities. The general theme of all webinars is teaching foreign languages in the conditions of digitalization.
As for Belarusian specialists, attention was focused on the problems of studying biotechnologies in universities. At a joint conference, scientists Govher Shikhgulyeva and Ogulsapar Nazarova spoke about the experience of reforming higher education in Turkmenistan and prospects for cooperation with BSU.
In addition, the possibility of training TSU teachers at BSU and conducting a course of lectures for Turkmen students by Belarusian mentors was discussed.
Representatives of BSU, including scientists Tatiana Ditchenko and Irina Feklistova, shared information about the equipment of the main university of Belarus, its infrastructure capabilities and divisions.
