It is noted that GDP growth in the non—oil sector is expected to be 2.3%, and in the oil sector - 1.2%. Daily oil production in the country will remain at around 0.18 million barrels per day.

The IMF forecast indicates that Turkmenistan will continue to actively participate in world trade. The growth of foreign trade turnover indicated in the report is a positive signal for investors who may be interested in investing in the country's economy.

The Turkmen economy is one of the fastest growing in the world: annual GDP growth reaches over 6%. Recently, it was reported that the Ministry of Finance of Turkmenistan has been instructed to develop a draft state budget for 2024.
