Another consignment of humanitarian aid from Turkmenistan is delivered to Afghanistan


A humanitarian caravan with a cargo of medical, food and textile products weighing about 125 tons, sent from Turkmenistan, arrived at its destination in Afghanistan, which is experiencing a serious economic and food crisis.

The plot about the transfer of humanitarian aid was shown in the evening newscast of the Turkmen television. The Afghan agency Pajhwok also announced the arrival of Turkmenistan's aid to Afghanistan in the form of food and non-food items worth a million dollars.

Another batch of humanitarian aid to the neighboring people was sent by order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In addition, as part of this campaign, a group of medical workers from Turkmenistan has been sent there since May 15 to provide medical and advisory assistance in the maternity hospital built by Turkmenistan in 2016 in the village of Turgundi, Herat province.
