The premiere screening of the film "Daragt" by film director Salih Bayramov took place in Ashgabat

The premiere of the feature film "Daragt" ("Tree") directed by the Turkmenfilm studio Salih Bayramov took place on Wednesday at the Ashgabat cinema in the capital. It is symbolic that the picture was shown during the celebration of the Great Victory – after all, the new melodrama tells about the wartime events of 1941-1945 and the fate of the Turkmen woman Nyazik, who accompanied her husband to war and waited for him to return home for many years, even after the end of the Great Patriotic War.
This is Salih Bayramov's second film dedicated to the Great Patriotic War and, like his first film "Gyzyl Kurte", is based on real events - real people, namely women of Turkmenistan, became the prototypes of the heroes. In his paintings, the author shows the courage of young Turkmen women, who may look fragile, but are very strong in spirit. His heroes are selfless, purposeful and at the same time touching and faithful. They were able to go through the difficulties of the war years and keep their love for their loved ones.
The main roles were played by young artists and students of the Turkmen Institute of Culture Turan Gurbanova, Aydogdy Sopyyev, Elaman Nurymov, Muhammedguly Kasymov, Oguljahan Kuliyeva, as well as the leading actress of the country's Main Drama Theater Shemshat Kasymova. The film was shot in the picturesque surroundings of Baherden and Geokdepe.
