Turkmen billiard players will compete for the Cup in Moscow


Turkmen billiard players will take part in the Moscow Mayor's Cup, which will be held from May 15 to May 20 in the Russian capital.
As the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports told ORIENT, the composition of the Turkmen delegation was formed by 17 people, including 13 athletes.
The organizers of the Moscow Mayor's Cup were the Department of Sports of the City of Moscow, the Moscow Billiard Sports Union and the editorial office of Rossiyskaya Gazeta. The event is held with the support of the Moscow government and under the auspices of the International Pyramid Confederation and the Billiard Sports Federation of Russia.
The tournament has the status of a World Cup, the strongest billiard players - champions of Russia, Europe and the world take part in it.
Competitions will be held in the discipline "free pyramid" (men, women).
As part of the tournament, a match meeting will take place between the national teams of Russia and the International Pyramid Confederation (the World Team). The games will be held on the final day in the 5x5 format.
The prize fund of the Moscow Mayor's Cup-2023 will be 2,725,000 rubles.
