Rich in mineral resources, Turkmenistan has tremendous opportunities to increase production of gas and oil products. As the reports of oil and gas enterprises of the country show, processing of energy carriers in recent years has reached a qualitatively new level. New plants are being built in Turkmenistan for the development of the industry and an increase in production capacities using advanced technologies. The main goal for today is to bring the depth of gas and oil processing to a maximum. This will reduce the amount of waste, improve the quality of products through disposal of heavy residues, and increase its competitiveness in the world market. In Turkmenistan, the number of specialists in the oil and gas industry is also increasing due to the emergence of new training programs in various universities of the country. Naturally, future inventors and engineers need material encouragement. This fact was provided for in the recently adopted Law on the Legal Protection of Inventions and Industrial Designs, which is designed to stimulate the emergence of new domestic technologies for processing raw materials.Eziz OVEZOV
Recently, the Turkmenbashy complex of oil refineries (TKNPZ) has taken specific measures to improve the quality of its products. In particular, the following sections of the enterprise have been modernized:
- Installation of primary distillation of oil. It is one of the main components of oil refineries, since it is at the first stage of processing that raw materials acquire their basic quality properties;
- Vacuum installation of the fuel profile, which ensures the production of light and heavy gas oil, as well as acid residue;
- Mixing of petroleum products. It gives an opportunity to produce high-quality and environmentally friendly gasoline and other fuels with different properties;
The nearest plans of the Oil Refineries Complex include:
- Reconstruction of the unit for the production of base oils, thanks to which the plant will be able to increase the output of this product by 100 thousand tons per year without increasing the volume of raw materials used;
- Commissioning of a new catalytic cracker for secondary processing of raw materials, which will significantly improve the quality of petroleum products with high added value, such as liquefied petroleum gas and gasoline;
