The new field "Kelleli", which is located in the Mary region of Turkmenistan, according to experts, will produce more than half a million cubic meters of gas per day, the newspaper "Turkmenistan" reports.

Currently, the drillers of the Turkmengas State Concern are actively working on the development of the Kelleli and Garabil fields. The depth of the first well has already reached 2.5 thousand km.

Two deposits arouse genuine interest on the part of Turkmen gas producers: gas samples from there show a low content of harmful hydrocarbons. In addition, the abundance of natural gas in these deposits gives the right to believe that similar deposits may be in the immediate vicinity.
