The first adviser of the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan Renata Vrubel during her visit to the Balkan region held a meeting with Deputy Mayor of the region Bahar Amanmyradova and Deputy Mayor of Balkanabad Gurbansoltan Amanova.

The participants of the meeting expressed interest in intensifying the bilateral dialogue, which serves as an important tool for promoting constructive partnership.

During the meeting, the sides stressed that for many years the cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU has been effectively developing within the framework of existing joint specialized projects and programs. And this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the EU.

As Renata Vrubel noted, in this regard, the EU intends to continue the expedient expansion of diplomatic relations in the field of culture, sports, healthcare and cooperation with civil society.

At the end of the event, the parties exchanged memorable gifts.
