Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the composition of the Turkmen-Kazakh intergovernmental commission

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree approving the composition of the Turkmen-Kazakh intergovernmental commission from the Turkmen side, TDH reports.
During negotiations with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in October last year, the head of Turkmenistan noted the need for a joint analysis of trade and economic relations, including in the agricultural sector, industry and services.
In this regard, the parties decided to intensify the activities of the intergovernmental commission, whose work will focus on economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation.
In addition, as the leaders of the two states themselves have repeatedly noted, the intergovernmental commission of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan is considered as a coordinating body in the relations between the two friendly countries.
