Turkmenistan and Tajikistan signed a large package of documents on cooperation
A total of 24 documents were signed following the talks between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Dushanbe, according to the website of the leader of the RT.
Heads of States put signatures under the Declaration on Deepening Strategic Partnership between the countries, which Rahmon called historic and a factor in the development and stability of the region.
The authorized members of the delegations signed 23 documents. These include agreements between governments on cooperation in the field of healthcare, veterinary medicine, international cybersecurity, technical protection of information, plant quarantine.
The following documents were also signed:
— "Roadmap" for expanding cooperation in the field of agriculture between the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023-2025;
— A program of joint activities ("Roadmap") to expand further cooperation in the field of increasing cargo flow and activating multimodal transportation between the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023-2025;
— Protocol between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan on mutual cooperation within the framework of international organizations;
— Memorandum between the Financial Monitoring Service under the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and the Financial Monitoring Department under the National Bank of Tajikistan on cooperation in countering the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime, financing of terrorism and financing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction;
— Memorandum between the Central Bank of Turkmenistan and the National Bank of Tajikistan;
— Agreement between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the organization of the exchange of preliminary information on goods and vehicles transported across the customs border;
— Agreement between the Mayor's Office of Mary region of Turkmenistan and the Executive Authority of the Khatlon region of the Republic of Tajikistan;
— Agreement between the Municipality of the Balkan region of Turkmenistan and the Executive Body of the state Authority of the Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian areas;
— Memorandum between the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan;
— Memorandum on Trade cooperation between the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan;
— Memorandum between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the field of labor and employment of the population;
— Memorandum between the Agency "Turkmenautoulaglary" of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan on the development of international transport;
— Memorandum of cooperation between the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan and the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan;
— Memorandum between the Main State Service "Turkmenstandardlary" and the State Supervision Service for the Safety of Work in Industry and Mining Industry under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan;
— Memorandum between the Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan;
— Memorandum of Cooperation between the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan;
— Memorandum between the State Information Agency of Turkmenistan TDH and the National Information Agency of Tajikistan "Khovar";
— Memorandum of mutual cooperation between the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan and the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of the Republic of Tajikistan.
