23 documents were signed as a result of the Turkmen-Tajik business forum held in Dushanbe on Monday, May 8.

Of these, nine business transactions for specific amounts. In particular, the economic company Hazar logistika and the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan entered into an agreement for the provision of logistics services.

Turkmen companies have agreed to export their products to Tajik partners. “Bagdan”, “Hasar” and “Atyn Ýunus” - confectionery products, IE “Polat dokma we söwda” - polypropylene threads, IE “Mizemez gadam” - isogamous products, “Ak bulut” - building materials, etc.

In general, the total amount of transactions amounted to more than 10 million 780 thousand US dollars, of which 500 thousand accounted for one contract for the import of metal products and enameled dishes to Turkmenistan, and the rest for the export of goods and services.

Another 14 cooperation agreements between Turkmen and Tajik companies so far only create the basis for commercial cooperation in such areas as light and food industries, tourism, etc.

In addition to the business forum, the 1st meeting of the Turkmen-Tajik Business Council was held in Dushanbe. On the sidelines of the event, a series of bilateral meetings were held between representatives of state institutions and private companies of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
