Turkmenistan will send its doctors and medicines to Afghanistan as humanitarian aid
Turkmenistan will send medicines and medical supplies, goods and food, as well as doctors to the village of Turgundi in the Afghan province of Herat to provide medical and advisory assistance in local maternity hospital , TDH reports.
The orders were signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
According to the document, responsibility for the implementation of the humanitarian campaign is assigned to the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Textile Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The dispatch of specialists and the transfer of goods to a neighboring country will be carried out in May of this year.
