Vladimir Putin invited Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Moscow for Victory Day


Russian President Vladimir Putin invited President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to take part in the celebrations dedicated to the 78th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which will be held in Moscow.
This was reported by the Turkmen state information Agency following a telephone conversation between the heads of the two states. Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked his Russian counterpart for the invitation.
During the conversation, the Presidents summed up the results of interstate cooperation, including inter-parliamentary cooperation. It was noted that 6 meetings were held at the bilateral and multilateral levels in 2022.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that Turkmenistan, like Russia, sacredly honors the memory of those who defended the country at the front and in the rear, bringing victory over fascism closer. The Turkmen government will continue to pay great attention to war veterans.
At the end of the conversation, the heads of state confirmed their readiness to increase multifaceted cooperation.
