Uzbekistan is ready for transit of Turkmen electricity

Uzbek energy specialists prepared the country's power systems for the transit of Turkmen electricity. This information was provided to the media by the head of the strategic development department of "Uzbekenergo" Eso Sadullayev.
The Turkmen Energy Ministry and Uzbekenergo have previously agreed on a partnership in the field of transit and electricity flow that will ensure the supply of Turkmen energy to the states of the region through Uzbek territory.
Sadulloev stressed that if the Turkmen side concludes agreements on the export of electricity to other states, the Uzbek energy system is ready to implement such a transit.
