Since May 12, the US authorities have canceled mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 for foreigners arriving in the country, as well as federal employees and contractors, according to a statement issued by the White House on Monday.

According to the document, the public health emergency in connection with COVID-19 in the country will end on the same day.

The Ministry of Health and Human Services and the US Department of Homeland Security will also launch a process to abolish the vaccination requirement for preschool teachers and medical staff.

The White House will provide additional details related to the cancellation of these requirements in the coming days.
