The possibilities of publishing articles in international publications were discussed at the Turkmen university
A scientific conference was held at the Yagshigeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas on the topic "Features of publishing articles in international scientific journals for entry into the list of leading international universities in the world".
Teachers and students of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the country took part in the scientific and educational event via video link.
During the conference, the participants studied the experience of the Yagshigeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas in publishing articles by teachers and students in leading scientific journals of the world.
As the speakers noted during their speeches, today there are several independent, well-known and prestigious ratings that assess the level of higher educational institutions of the world taking into account several areas of their work and maintain a consolidated list of achievements.
These ratings collect information about higher education institutions from publications, conducting an independent analysis of research and project activities of higher education institutions.
As for the experience of the Yagshigeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas in preparing articles for journals such as: SCOPUS, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, the university widely implements the principle of mentoring and apprenticeship.
Young teachers are supervised by experienced teachers and scientists with the degree of candidate and doctor of Sciences, teach them the intricacies of conducting research and publishing scientific articles based on their results. That is, currently there are 5 doctors of sciences and 28 candidates of sciences working at our university.
Graduate students of the university and applicants for the degree of Candidate of Sciences are active in publishing articles in international publications of foreign countries. Since the beginning of this year, more than 140 scientific articles by experts of the Turkmen university, prepared in the course of research, have been published in international scientific journals.
