The Asian Kurash Championship has become the international test event of the Hangzhou 2022 Games


Hangzhou hosted the Asian Kurash Championship as an international test event for the 2022 Asian Summer Games.
The competition was held by the International Kurasha Association at the Xiaoshan Linpu Gymnasium. At the same time, the qualifying tournament of the World Kurash Series (WSP) "Exciting Hangzhou 2023" was organized.
Earlier, the Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia Hussein Al-Musallam and the Secretary General of the International Kurasha Association inspected the Village of the Asian Games, designed for 10 thousand athletes, including visited the warm-up area for practicing Kurash, Kabbadi, taekwondo and karate.
Before the Asian Championship, the leadership of the International Kurash Association, consisting of President Haider Farman, Vice President Zieviddin Khojiniyazov, discussed in Kuwait the issue of holding a "Kurash Week" in Hangzhou, including an international seminar of judges and coaches in Kurash.
It should be noted that the kurash martial arts discipline debuted at the 2018 Asian Summer Games in Indonesia.
