The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Armenia held a chess tournament


The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Armenia has organized a chess tournament among diplomats, according to the diplomatic department's Instagram page.
Employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the diplomatic corps of the country demonstrated their abilities in this intellectual game.
"I consider chess to be the kindest and most useful game," said Smbat Lpuyan, head of the Armenian Chess Academy, noting that it is a great honor for the Academy to receive such distinguished guests.
In his welcoming speech, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia Muhametgeldi Ayazov noted the importance of developing Turkmen-Armenian cooperation in the field of sports.
The chess tournament is organized jointly with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the Diplomatic Club and the Chess Academy of the country.
Congratulating all the participants and winners of the tournament, the representative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia Artur Sedrakyan noted that the Ministry supports the holding of such tournaments.
