Turkmenistan and Qatar discussed expanding cooperation in the field of labor

The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Turkmenistan Muhammetseyit Sylapov held talks with his counterpart from Qatar Ali bin Smayh al-Marri, during which ways to expand cooperation between the countries in the labor sector were discussed, Gulf Times reports.
The meeting of the two ministers was held via videoconference and was timed to coincide with the World Workers' Rights Day, which has been celebrated for 20 years.
It should be noted that the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, together with industry departments, plans to hold seminars, as well as actions to prevent injuries in the workplace and measures to reduce the morbidity of workers.
