Turkmen Deputy Prime Minister met with Uzbek Leader

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Orazgeldyev Esenmyrat was received on Thursday in Tashkent by the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, UzA news agency reported. The deputy prime minister, responsible for the agro-industrial complex, arrived in the capital of a neighboring country to attend the session of the Council of CIS heads of government. During the meeting, Orazgeldyev conveyed greetings to the head of Uzbekistan on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and expressed gratitude for the warm welcome. It was stressed that regular visits and contacts of the top leadership of the two fraternal countries promoted the Turkmen-Uzbek relations to the level of strategic partnership. In the mutual opinion, the key areas of present bilateral partnership are trade and economy, transport and communications, industry and agriculture. Today, on 3 November, Tashkent has hosted a regular meeting of the heads of government of the CIS with the participation of delegations from 10 countries.
