The diplomatic agencies of Turkmenistan and China discussed the realization of economic potential
Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Vepa Hadjiev discussed with Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang the disclosure of bilateral trade and economic potential and bringing Turkmen-Chinese relations to a new level.
Representatives of the foreign ministries noted the important role of the Turkmen-Chinese Cooperation Committee and its specialized subcommittees in building up trade partnership between the countries, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The diplomats also touched upon issues related to the international agenda, including regional issues, as well as interaction within major international organizations.
The head of the Turkmen delegation stated that the economic partnership of Turkmenistan and China is considered as the foundation of cooperation between the two states.
The talks of the high-ranking officials took place within the framework of the 4th meeting of foreign Ministers in the format "Central Asia — China", which was held in the Chinese city of Xi'an.
