Arab ADNOC is confident in Turkmenistan's ability to influence the global energy crisis
When used correctly, natural gas enriches the economy and benefits all communities and sustainable development. With these words, Executive Vice President of ADNOC International Mohamed Al Aryani began his speech at the plenary session of the oil and gas investment forum of Turkmenistan in Dubai.
According to the speaker, Turkmenistan will play an important role in solving the problems of the global energy crisis and reducing the impact of its consequences for a number of reasons: it is blessed with natural resources and strategically located at the crossroads of west and east.
− Other countries have these factors, but Turkmenistan is unique here in that it proactively advocates attracting new investors for the sustainable development of its resource potential through partnership, Al Aryani said.
It is important not only to attract partners, it is important to create the necessary investment climate so that partners do not lose interest and continue to invest, he noted.
To do this, there are three main key provisions: ensuring transparency, fast and efficient decision-making and the necessary commercial conditions so that everyone at the table benefits.
− The leadership of Turkmenistan demonstrates the desire to create just such conditions, and we in the UAE, in ADNOC have no doubt that Turkmenistan will not only play, but will have a leading role in resolving the energy crisis and will make an important contribution to managing the future energy landscape.
