The Chinese authorities have stopped checking PCR certificates for all passengers entering the country since April 29 of this year. This was stated by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Mao Ning.
Now, for those entering, only a test for antibodies to COVID-19 is provided, made within 48 hours before departure to the country. Measures have been taken to optimize travel to the country.
"China will continue to take optimal and scientifically sound measures, taking into account the epidemic situation, to ensure orderly and safe travel for Chinese and foreign citizens," the representative of the country's diplomatic department said.
It should be noted that since March 15, China has started issuing all types of visas for foreign citizens.
