Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan intend to conclude an agreement in the field of customs


The issue of concluding an interstate agreement in the field of customs affairs between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan was discussed during the meeting of the Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan Maksat Hudaikulyyev with the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkmenistan Azizbek Madmarov. This is reported by the official website of the Customs Department of Turkmenistan.
The document is intended to lay the legal basis for improving the partnership between the customs authorities of the two countries. The agenda of the meeting also included issues of information exchange, comparison of statistical data, as well as the proper use of the transit potential of the two countries to increase mutual trade turnover.
The Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan informed the Kyrgyz Ambassador about the work carried out in the country aimed at modernizing customs services and increasing the export potential of Turkmenistan.
