Turkmenistan is represented at the meeting of the Commission on Economic Issues of the CIS
The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the regular meeting of the Commission on Economic Issues under the CIS Economic Council, which was held in Moscow. This is reported by the press service of the Commonwealth.
The parties discussed a number of issues related to economic cooperation in the CIS. So, they got acquainted with the main macroeconomic indicators of the development of the economies of the Commonwealth countries over the past year.
The results of the assessment will be used in the preparation and implementation of measures aimed at maintaining macroeconomic stability, achieving positive economic growth rates, as well as strengthening foreign trade relations.
The members of the Commission also approved the draft Regulations on the basic organization of the CIS member States for training, professional retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of standardization, metrology, quality management and certification. This status was granted to the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Additional Professional Education "Academy of Standardization, Metrology and Certification".
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled to be held on May 17, 2023.
