FC Arkadag defeated Energetik in the Turkmenistan Cup
FC Arkadag defeated Mary's Energetik in the match of the preliminary round of the Turkmenistan Football Cup. The match, held at the Nisa stadium in Ashgabat, ended with a score of 4:0 in favor of Arkadag.
Didar Durdyyev opened the score in the match in the 39th minute, closing the pass from the right flank. Six minutes later, Annadurdyyev doubled the home advantage after drawing a corner.
In the 70th minute, a slotting pass helped Shahnazar Tirkishov go one-on-one with the goalkeeper: the striker did not miss. At the end of the meeting, Begmyrat Bayov closed the transfer from the air, driving the ball into the net with his head.
The return meeting of the teams will take place on May 2 in Mary.
The winner of the Arkadag — Energetik pair will face Kopetdag in the quarterfinals.
