Turkmen experts became participants of the Caspian Energy Forum in Moscow


Energy security, development of the oil and gas complex in the region and environmental issues were discussed by the participants of the XV Caspian Energy Forum, held in Moscow on April 20. The meeting of experts from the region took place in person and online, and the Russian State Geological Prospecting University named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze acted as the platform for the symposium, TASS reports.
Representatives of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Russia discussed the interaction of the Caspian countries to ensure energy security in the region, geological exploration, production, processing and transportation of oil and gas, and also considered the prospects for green energy and equipment import substitution.
Four agreements on cooperation and intentions between scientific organizations were signed on the sidelines of the forum. A package of proposals adopted by the participants following the results of the Moscow meeting is annually sent to the authorities of the Caspian states.
