Bidding on SCRMET: liquefied gas, diesel fuel and cotton yarn were in demand


On Wednesday, April 19, at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, 21 transactions were operated for a total of $ 24.5 million, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased a total of 6 thousand tons of liquefied natural gas, the cost of which was estimated at $357 per ton and $353 per ton (at an increased discount). The total amount of transactions amounted to $2.1 million.
Businessmen from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased 30 thousand tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel during the auction, the cost of each ton of which was estimated at $ 629.75. The total amount of signed contracts amounted to $18.8 million.
Representatives of the Turkish business community purchased 1.6 million kg of various types of cotton yarn for $3.5 million.
