Turkmen specialists increase their potential in the field of finance
The issues of calculating fixed capital consumption in accordance with the 2008 System of National Accounts (2008 SNA) were discussed during a two-day training organized by UNDP for representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan and the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
During the event, which was led by the UNDP international expert Massimiliano Yommi, recommendations were presented on improving the calculation of fixed capital consumption and bringing this methodology into line with the 2008 System of National Accounts.
The event was organized within the framework of a joint project of the United Nations Development Program and the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan to strengthen the institutional, statistical and information technology potential of the State Statistics Committee.
