The British Embassy in Turkmenistan invites children to a crown making contest

On the occasion of the ceremonies scheduled for May as part of the coronation of King Charles III of the United Kingdom, the British Embassy in Turkmenistan is holding a competition for the production of a crown.
The competition is open to children aged 6 to 14 from all over Turkmenistan. To participate, they need to create the main attribute of the king from recycled materials. At the same time, it should be unique and attractive in appearance.
The competition is held in three age categories — among children from 6 to 8 years old, from 9 to 11 years old and from 12 to 14 years old.
The results of the work can be sent to the British diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan, located on the third floor of the Ak Altyn Hotel in Ashgabat, or a photo with a crown made on his head by e-mail ukembassy.ashgabat@fcdo.gov.uk .
The deadline for the completion of works is April 30, 2023.
The names of the winners in each of their three age categories will be announced on May 6th. They will be invited to the coronation ceremony in Ashgabat and will receive memorable gifts from the Buckingham Palace collection.
