Russian company provided services for Turkmen Airlines
The subsidiary of the Russian Engineering Holding – “Sibir Technik” has carried out major maintenance of Boeing 757 aircraft, under the order of the national carrier “Turkmenistan Airlines”, says the Russian service provider’s press release. Under the contract with Turkmen air company, the specialists of "Sibir Technik" completed one of the most complex types of technical inspection - S4C check, as well as additional works requested by the operator. S4C check is a labor-intensive form of service that runs every 15-20 months or after every 4,000 flight hours. The test requires that the aircraft is taken out of service for a period of 2 weeks. It is almost completely dismantled, subjected to elimination of malfunctions and corrosion and equipment operation is diagnosed. The client included to the package full inspection of the passenger cabin, galleys, lavatories, side panels. According to Stanislav Mitin, the senior sales manager of the Holding Engineering, Russian technicians have positively assessed the state of the Turkmen airplane, that proves the regularity of maintenance in accordance with all aviation standards. The Holding, consisting of two enterprises “Sibir Technik” and “S 7 ENGINEERING” is the largest commercial structure of aircraft technical maintenance in Russia and CIS countries. To date, the civil fleet of "Turkmenistan Airlines" has 22 Boeing crafts of five types. For the period from January to October 2017, the growth rate for the provision of air services by the company reached 130%, for freight and passenger transportation - respectively, 114.5 and 107%.
