The Turkmen swimmer won a silver medal at the tournament in Tashkent


Turkmen swimmer Musa Jalayev won a silver medal on the first day of the qualifying tournament for the World Championship, which takes place from April 18 to 22 in Tashkent.
As the ORIENT correspondent was informed by the Turkmenistan Aquatics Federation, Musa Jalayev was awarded the silver medal in the 100-meter freestyle swim, covering the distance in 52.35 seconds.
The composition of the Turkmen delegation for this tournament was formed by 15 people, including 13 swimmers. The men's team included: Merdan Atayev, Musa Jalayev, David Akopyan, Arslan Gayypnazarov, Eminguly Ballykov, Abdyrahman Agamuradov, and Selim Nazarov.
The women's team is represented by: Aynura Primova, Valeria Mirenskaya, Enesh Primova, Anastasia Morgenstern and Ejesh Primova.
Turkmen swimmers perform under the leadership of Vladimir Novikov and Mark Pilyugin.
The tournament in Tashkent brought together 265 swimmers (196 men and 69 women) from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
