The Prosecutor General's Office of Turkmenistan and UNICEF discussed best practices in the field of law

Representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) held a round table during which they discussed measures to remove minors from the formal justice system, the organization's representative office in the country reports.
The discussion was devoted to measures of rehabilitation and social protection of children who have committed offenses, but are not subject to criminal liability in accordance with the legislation of the country.
In addition, the participants of the round table discussed the application of international best practices aimed at the complete removal of children from the justice system.
