The Turkmenistan national swimming team will take part in the qualifying tournament for the World Championship, which will be held from July 14 to 30 in Fukuoka (Japan). This was reported to the ORIENT correspondent by the country's Aquatics Federation.

The qualification tournament with the participation of swimmers from Central Asian countries will be held on April 18-22 in Tashkent at the Republican Center for the Development of Olympic and Paralympic Sports.

The composition of the Turkmen delegation was formed by 15 people, including 13 swimmers. The men's team included: Merdan Atayev, Musa Jalayev, David Akopyan, Arslan Gayipnazarov, Eminguly Ballykov, Abdyrahman Agamuradov, Selim Nazarov.

The women's team will be represented by: Aynura Primova, Valeria Mirenskaya, Enesh Primova, Anastasia Morgenstern, and Ejesh Primova.

Turkmen swimmers will perform under the leadership of Vladimir Novikov and Mark Pilyugin.
