State officers servants of Turkmenistan are invited to a 10-month internship in the USA
The Hubert Humphrey Program, which is funded by the American Congress, invites middle-level professionals in senior positions of government agencies of Turkmenistan to undergo a 10-month academic internship in the United States in the 2024-2025 academic year.
The internship is aimed at gaining experience, necessary skills and knowledge and does not involve obtaining an academic degree, the American Embassy in Turkmenistan reports.
The selection is carried out in the following areas:
— natural resources, environmental policy, climate change,
— urban and regional planning,
— communications, journalism,
— law and human rights,
— public policy analysis and public administration,
— human trafficking, policy and prevention,
— technology policy and management,
— human resource management,
— management, planning and policy of education,
— teaching English as a foreign language,
— public health policy and management,
— HIV policy and prevention/AIDS,
— infectious diseases.
Basic requirements for candidates:
—professionalism in a managerial position and commitment to public service,
— at least five years of full-time experience,
— higher education,
— proficiency in written and spoken English (TOEFL 525),
The scholarship covers 100% of expenses.
For the internship, you need to present a diploma of higher education, three letters of recommendation from persons who can confirm the applicant's qualifications, full form applications.
