Kazakhstan will receive diplomats from Afghanistan

The Republic of Kazakhstan has decided to accept diplomats from Afghanistan. This was stated by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Aibek Smadiyarov, the Tengrinews news agency reports.
"First of all, I want to recall the words of the head of state that we will not leave Afghanistan alone with the current difficulties, expressed in September 2021," the representative of the ministry said.
In addition, it is reported that a trade representative office of the republic will open in the Afghan province of Herat.
The Kazakh Foreign Ministry emphasizes that cooperation with the Afghan administration does not mean official recognition, as it remains the prerogative of the UN. Earlier, the request for the admission of Kabul diplomats was voiced by the Minister of Trade and Investment of Afghanistan, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund.
