G7 will cooperate in solving specific tasks in Central Asia


The G7 countries have agreed to cooperate in solving specific tasks related to Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. This became known during a meeting of the G7 foreign ministers in Japan, TASS reports.
The Foreign Ministers unanimously stated that the countries will continue to cooperate in solving common regional problems of the Central Asian states.
G7 or "Group of Seven" is a platform within which the most economically developed countries of the Western world exchange views on current world events, make recommendations on various issues of the global economy and politics. It includes the USA, Germany, France, Canada, Italy, Great Britain, Japan. The G7 meetings are held with the participation of the European Commission.
The meeting of Foreign Ministers is taking place in Japan, in the city of Karuizawa from April 16 to 28.
