Students from the CIS will be admitted to the Russian project on technological entrepreneurship

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia may amend the rules for students' participation in the project "Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship", Interfax reports, referring to the head of the ministry Valery Falkov.
According to the changes, students studying at Russian universities will be able to participate in the competition.
"It is possible and necessary to involve students from the CIS in the project, because we are making serious efforts to make Russian education attractive to students," Falkov said, speaking at the U—Novus-2023 forum of young scientists in Tomsk.
The federal project "Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship" provides for the inclusion of representatives of the university community in entrepreneurial activity. The project should contribute to the formation of a galaxy of entrepreneurs launching their startups, to reveal the entrepreneurial potential of young people.
To do this, several formats are being implemented within the framework of the project: they open startup studios at universities, organize "Entrepreneurial Boiling Points" collective work sites, conduct trainings, and implement a program to reimburse part of investments in university startups.
An important criterion for passing the competitive selection is the cooperation of the university with industrial partners and expert practitioners, so that students can learn how to create really working projects.
