BOMCA held a seminar for representatives of law enforcement agencies of Central Asian countries


Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in a regional online seminar organized by the Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) for employees of border, migration and law enforcement agencies, as well as teaching staff of subordinate educational institutions.
It was also attended by delegates from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The event is designed to provide methodological support for the training of border control specialists for the effective conduct of classes in the field of identification and profiling of victims of human trafficking, illegal migrants. In this regard, the participants got acquainted with modern forms and methods of teaching in this area.
The seminar was organized as part of the implementation of Component 1 of the BOMCA 10 Program "Institutional development of Border agencies", which is aimed at further development and strengthening of the institutional capacity of border control authorities in the countries of the region.
A wide variety of human trafficking and illegal migration operations are carried out in the world. Effective actions to prevent and combat human trafficking require a comprehensive approach at the international level, including information campaigns.
