Turkmenistan and the UN Regional Commission reviewed the calendar of upcoming events
The head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry Rashid Meredov discussed the planned events with the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) Olga Algaerova, the diplomatic department of Turkmenistan reports.
We are talking about the upcoming 70th session of the UNECE and the Ministerial Meeting of the Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia. In addition, the parties exchanged views on the work on the opening of the city of Arkadag.
During the online meeting, the sides also touched upon the priority areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and one of the five UN regional commissions covering the territory of Europe, Central Asia, Russia, the USA and Canada.
