The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the "Caspian five" will be held in Russia in 2023


The meeting of the foreign Ministers of the Caspian countries is planned to be held in Russia. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a joint press conference with his Kazakh counterpart Murat Nurtleu, the website of the Russian diplomatic service reports.
Sergey Lavrov said that Russia attaches great importance to the implementation of the agreements reached during the VI Caspian Summit held in Ashgabat in 2022 and the II Caspian Economic Forum.
Previously reported that the VII summit of the heads of the Caspian states is planned to be held in Iran.
The "Caspian Five" includes the coastal countries of the Caspian Sea, which aim at mutual economic integration, ensuring the safety and preservation of the marine regional ecosystem. It includes Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan.
