Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Oleg Kononenko on Cosmonautics Day
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the hero of Turkmenistan and Russia, commander of the cosmonaut detachment of Roscosmos Oleg Kononenko on Cosmonautics Day, TDH reports.
In his message, the Head of state noted that space exploration is an integral part of modern science, opening up new prospects for all mankind. "With your many years of work, you are making a great contribution to this noble cause," the President of Turkmenistan wrote.
The cosmonaut, who is a native of the Turkmen land, was also congratulated by Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
"I wish you good health, happiness and family well-being. May you always be successful in your professional activity, which is a great contribution to the study and exploration of space, the knowledge of our Universe," the national leader noted in his message.
