Korean companies are interested in implementing projects in the city of Arkadag


Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Korea Kang Jae Kwon expressed the interest of leading Korean companies in the implementation of major projects in Turkmenistan, including the construction of the city of Arkadag. He said this at a meeting with Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Seoul, Begench Durdyev, which was held on Friday in the building of the South Korean Foreign Ministry.
“During the talks, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, including political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields. Diplomats stressed the importance of contacts at the highest and high levels in expanding friendly bilateral relations,” the Turkmen embassy commented on the meeting.

In particular, the parties reviewed the implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit of the head of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Seoul in November 2022.
"During the meeting, the diplomats paid special attention to holding joint events planned for the current year," the diplomatic mission added.
