The Foreign Ministers of Russia and Central Asia will discuss multilateral cooperation


The foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Russia will discuss multilateral cooperation in various fields on April 14 in the Uzbek city of Samarkand, TASS reports.
We are talking about cooperation in the political and economic, trade and economic, transport, energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The parties will also touch upon the mechanisms for implementing the decisions of the first Russia—Central Asia summit, held on October 14, 2022 in Astana.
In addition, the foreign ministers will exchange assessments and compare positions on topical issues on the international agenda.
Sergey Lavrov's participation in the meeting has already been confirmed by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
